Fly to you I
City - Wide Open Studios 2007
at Alternative Space by Artspace, New Haven, CT, U.S.A.
In this work, I transform the actual space into virtual universe covered with imaginary forms and shapes.
I portray the ubiquitous characteristics of contemporary compute
technology and the distinctive ways of communicating via the internet
that have been affecting and changing human life as imaginary living
species that are continuously cloning, changing forms and evolving by
themselves.
Applying a combination of techniques of diverse media from free
hand drawing, painting, digital imaging and editing to collage and
sewing I am collaborating images and symbols such as computer monitor,
molecule-like shapes, telescopes(camera), eyeballs and tubes into these
cartoon like creatures.
